Ugly Betty!


It was bound to happen.


The ugly truth surfaced today as ABC announced the end of the spunky latina's reign on their prime time line-up. To make matters worse, the network has cut back the amount of episodes to be shot from 22 to 20.
Double the brutality.


The only bright spot for the folks at Betty is they have ample time to tackle how they want to end their series. Executive producer Silvio Horta and ABC president Steve McPherson confirmed this in a joint statement, saying:

“We’ve mutually come to the difficult decision to make this Ugly Betty’s final season, and are announcing now as we want to allow the show ample time to write a satisfying conclusion. We are extremely proud of this groundbreaking series, and felt it was important to give the fans a proper farewell.”

And another one bites the dust. But how will it end?


Will Betty finally make in big in the Big City? Will she find love? Will she lose the braces? Will the poncho make a comeback???
