NBA Jam Making A Return On The Wii

NBA Jam has to be one of the best arcade sports titles ever made. I still to this day will play a game or two every once in a while and I’m not even a basketball fan. Naturally, I was very excited to hear EA officialy announce that an updated version of NBA Jam is being developed. Currently there is only a Nintendo Wii version announced, so motion control may be a big part of the new game. It is to have the classic gameplay, including high flying dunks and introduce all new game modes. No mention yet on whether or not the rosters will be updated, but we can assume they will.


NBA Jam for the Wii will be released in 2010 and is being made by EA Vancouver. All I can say is, I hope Vancouver is better at making basketball games than basketball teams. Sorry I just had to, the Vancouver Grizzlies were horrible… and now they don’t exist.
